Nadia Day

Nadia Day is an impressionist landscape artist based locally. She gains inspiration from our beautiful Royal Parks and Thames, and further afield through seascapes and commissions. Her impressionistic landscapes are highly recognisable, with a fresh and contemporary finish. She works in acrylics on large scale canvases, opting for pallet knives and thick brushstrokes to create bold and energetic pieces.

Nadia has produced a series of local paintings and limited edition prints for the Riverside Gallery – including Barnes Bridge and Barnes Common. Please contact us to discuss commissions.

Nadia studied art at Kingston University and gained a BA in Drama & Theatre Arts from Birmingham University. She describes herself as a self-taught artist, her path evolving from a career in illustration and advertising visuals to today’s strong, very painterly style. Nadia’s work has been selected for national exhibitions including LAPADA and the Battersea Affordable Art Fair, and is held in private collections all over the world.
