Lynda Minter

Lynda Minter is a London- based artist who has an interest in capturing impressions of how the landscape and cityscapes appear in a fleeting moment, bring to life the complexity of how light and colour transforms shapes and mood which she finds exciting.​

Her paintings are impressionistic and colourful combining thick brushstrokes with rich colour to capture the vivacity of Britain’s varied landscape: recording over her long career the ever-changing skyline of London and the river Thames.

​After studying Fine Art at St Martin’s School of Art in 1984 where she studied sculpture and a few years later make the transition into oils.
