Jennifer Greenland is a figurative oil painter. She has drawn and painted from a young age but studied painting more formally at The Art Academy, London between 2010 and 2012. Her subject matter is diverse but she is best known for her urban landscape paintings of London.
Her studio is located just outside London in the Surrey Hills and she is often sketching in the surrounding countryside or in the bustling streets and parks of London a stone’s throw away. In her urban landscape paintings, Jennifer draws inspiration from well-known parts of the capital and endeavours to communicate a sense of the bustle and charm of London’s busy streets. Jennifer is always seeking to find a point of beauty and balance within the composition and to create a lively picture surface full of light and colour.
